You can search by typing the kanji character, its reading in hiragana/katakana, or its meaning in your selected language. The search works in real-time as you type.
Tap the star icon on any kanji detail page to add it to your favorites. Access your favorites from the Favorites tab in the bottom navigation.
Go to Settings (gear icon) and select your preferred language from the Language option. The app supports 8 languages including English, Korean, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.
JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) levels range from N5 (beginner) to N1 (advanced). Our app organizes all 2,974 Joyo kanji by these levels to help you study systematically.
You can remove all advertisements by purchasing the "Remove Ads" option available in the Settings. This is a one-time purchase of $2.99.

Our kanji data is sourced from KANJIDIC2, maintained by the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group (EDRDG). The data is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.
